By browsing our website, creating an account, or using ArtistOS (hereinafter the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Use (hereinafter the “Terms”).
ArtistOS is software for independent music artists to plan releases, check readiness, manage approvals and activity, and optionally publish a public artist site and media kit. ArtistOS is not a law firm, label, distributor, or payment processor for royalties.

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Platform.
The Platform provides tools for release operations, including artist profile and catalog helpers, release metadata, readiness checks, approvals, activity history, and optional public sites, blog posts, media kits, and custom domains.
Optional AI-assisted features (when enabled) are provided for convenience only. Outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for verifying all metadata, splits, deadlines, and published content before relying on them.
You must create an account to use protected features. You agree to:
You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access.
Without prior written authorization, you must not:
You retain ownership of content you upload (audio metadata, artwork references, bios, media-kit materials, etc.). You grant ArtistOS a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Platform, including public pages you choose to publish.
You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and publish that content.
Optional paid features (such as purchasing a custom domain) are billed through Stripe. Domain registration is typically non-refundable once the registrar accepts the order. Refunds, if any, follow the rules disclosed at checkout and in our product documentation.
Domain renewals, DNS, and third-party registrar policies are your responsibility unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, ArtistOS and its directors, officers, and employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed release deadlines, or distributor rejections arising from your use of the Platform.
You are solely responsible for your release decisions, collaborator splits, public content, and compliance with third-party distributor and platform rules.
We strive for a reliable service but do not guarantee that:

Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Platform. You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may retain or delete data as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Courts of the judicial district of Montreal, Quebec, have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.
